I don't know about you, but growing up I always thought a midlife crisis was when men bought a new red sports car and got hair plugs. As I have approached midlife myself, the concept that this is a necessary developmental stage has resonated with me. In this episode I review some of what the evidence says about the midlife crisis, and share my own experience.
It seems to be a time when we begin to undo our previous beliefs and identity so we can devote more time and energy to living a life of purpose. I would love to know what your experience has been.
